With our location in the Northern Rocky Mountains, we hunt some of the biggest Canadian Moose anywhere.  If you just want to shoot a moose, this is probably not the hunt for you. However, if you’re serious about a 50-55″ class bull, and are prepared for a serious hunting adventure, then give us a call. We provide remote wilderness hunting experiences – for big bull moose.

We provide a very limited number of BC moose hunts.  Hunting is done from cabins and/or tents, using horses, ATV’s, and/or your own two feet – as required.  Each hunt has its own challenges and opportunities, and we work with every hunter to get them into the ‘right’ hunt.  

Elk, deer and black bear tags are available on all our B.C. moose hunts.  Call Jake to discuss what would work best for you.

Our B.C. goat hunts, like most goat hunts, require a hunter who is in excellent shape.  We can use horses and/or ATV’s to get within hiking range of the goats; however, in the end, it’s pretty simple: You need to be able to climb to where the goats are.  We have a solid goat population and an extremely limited number of permits available, so you can be sure we will put in the effort to help all our hunters get their goat.

Gunson Guiding & Outfitting is now offering Elk and Deer hunts in British Columbia.  The Elk can be hunted by rifle and/or bow, throughout the month of September and into October.  It is a ‘trophy’ hunt, with a minimum 6-point (on one side) bull restriction.  

There are some excellent whitetail deer on east slopes of the Rocky Mountains.  We primarily offer deer as an ‘add-on’ species; however, we do offer a limited number of spot & stalk and/or baited whitetail hunts.  

If you’re looking for more of an adventure, we offer fall Black Bear mountain hunts. These are spot & stalk hunts in our Northern B.C. area. This is the ‘introductory’ northern mountain hunt – the best value you will find on a genuine BC wilderness mountain hunt.
