If you want a full wilderness experience and are serious about a mature bull moose, then give us a call. We provide remote wilderness hunting adventures for big bull moose. If you just want to shoot a moose, this is probably not the hunt for you.
We operate out of a remote (ATV accessible) base camp, from where we can hunt further into the mountains by ATVs and/or horses, using spike camps as required.
We take an extremely limited number of moose hunters, which allows us to focus all our efforts on the one or two hunters that we will have during any specific hunt.
Our moose hunts can (usually) be combined with Elk, Black Bear, Whitetail, Mule deer and wolf. We offer 10- or 14-day hunts. The longer hunts allow for a much greater chance at harvesting a 2nd (or 3rd) animal.
We run a very small operation, typically with just 1 to 4 hunters in our area at a time. All hunts are 1×1 – each hunter has their own guide, unless a 2×1 hunt is specifically asked for. This allows us to customize and adapt every hunt to each specific hunter, leading to a personalized service. Facilities are rustic – we have some small cabins, but often hunt from tents.
Each moose hunt has its own challenges and opportunities, but all provide a unique wilderness hunting experience in a place where you have a good chance at harvesting an excellent bull moose. We like to have a couple of conversations with each hunter before they book – to make sure that everyone is a good fit for our operation and that we can provide a hunt that works for you!
Spot & stalk hunt by horseback – physically demanding hunts with high harvest rates for hunters who are tough enough. Serious mountain riding and hiking required. Great for moose/elk combinations.
Hunt by canoe, boat, and/or ATV. Stay in cabins and/or tents. You drive to our trailhead – and we take you deep into the wilderness. Meat or trophy hunts available; we will customize the hunt for you. Excellent opportunities for a serious canoe hunting adventure.
